 Internal Quality Assurance Cell

The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of organising, managing, and supervising the college's. The IQAC will organise and direct efforts to improve the college toward academic greatness rather than just acting as a cell for keeping records.

Vision

As a result, IQAC takes into account all potential factors that could benefit students and institutions through teaching and learning. Assessment and improvement may appear to be simple tasks, but when performed consistently, they can have a significant impact.

IQAC objectives

  • Preparing and submitting Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).

  • To identify quality bench marks in the college level
  • Keeping all important quality related documents pertaining to NAAC activities.
  • Creating guidelines for achieving academic and non-academic learning goals
  • Developing a student-centred teaching-learning environment
  • Providing faculty with the necessary tools
  • Considering student, teacher, and parent feedback to determine the best practises
  • To organise a variety of workshops and seminars to improve educational quality.
  • To make the students in all round development personality.

 Composition of the IQAC

 The IQAC shall have the following composition:

a) Principal  - Chairperson

b) Five senior teachers and one senior administrative official                - Member

 c) Two external experts on Quality Management/ Industry/Local Community -  Member

d) Director / Coordinator – Member Secretary The members at b) and c) of the above shall be nominated by the Principal of the College in consultation with the academic body of the College (Academic Committee of a College). 

The membership of such nominated members shall be for a period of two years. 

The IQAC should meet at least once in a quarter.  The quorum for the meeting shall be two-third of the total number of members. 

The agenda, minutes and Action Taken Reports are to be documented with official signatures and maintained electronically in a retrievable format.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

IQAC will become a part of the institution’s system & work towards realisation of the goals of quality enhancement & sustenance.

The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent & catalytic improvement in the overall performance of institutions.
